Justo "Danny" Cabrera was ticketed for violating the leash and dangerous dog law and says he has been cited for it twice before, News 12 Westchester reported.

Police were called when Cabrera's two dogs chased a woman pushing a stroller through the neighborhood. A police officer shot the dog twice when it tried to attack him, according to News 12 Westchester.

Cabrera's wife said that pepper spray was used to subdue their other dog and that similar measures should have been used on the dog that was shot, News 12 Westchester said.
