RYE, N.Y. -- A tractor-trailer overturned on I-95 in Rye Wednesday morning, causing heavy delays throughout the morning that started to ease toward noon.

The 8:08 a.m. incident, on the northbound side, occurred at Exit 21 on the ramp to I-287 and blocked the right lane on the exit ramp, causing stopped traffic that initially backed up to Playland Parkway (Exit 19).
