PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Piccolo Italian Gourmet, a restaurant in Port Chester which opened in 2015, has loads of promise, but needs to tune up its service a bit, according to a review in The New York Times .
Chef Stefano Gentili, a native of Rome, honors his heritage with pasta dishes such as Lasagna Boscaiola and appetizers like a Crispy Artichoke Fritti in pesto sauce, according to T he New York Time s review.
The Times reviewer, who said the prices were reasonable and the menu diverse, found the 28-seat eatery’s service uneven and the kitchen somewhat slow in getting orders out, but liked it enough to give it a rating of “good.”
The restaurant is at 321 N. Main St., Port Chester. Call (914)-481-5678.
