Mobile Passport Office Coming To Port Chester Monday

PORT CHESTER, Conn. -- Westchester County Clerk Timothy Idoni’s mobile passport unit will be in Port Chester from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 7, in the village hall parking lot.

A certified copy of one's birth certificate, a valid driver’s license and the fee usually is what's needed, but call 914-995-3086 or visit http://www.WestchesterClerk.com for more information.

Once processed, routine passport applications generally take four to six weeks; for an additional charge, expedited service reduces the time to two to three weeks.

To help expedite the process, passport applications can be downloaded from the ounty clerk's website and filled out in advance. Applications always can be submitted in person at the County Clerk's Office, 110 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., White Plains, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
