Man ID'd After Fatal Fall From Port Chester Building

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Police have identified the 26-year-old man who died Tuesday after falling from an apartment building.

Brandon Devers, a resident of the building at 360 Westchester Ave., was pronounced dead at the scene of the fall at 10:31 a.m., according to Port Chester police.

Police responded to the apartment building about 10:10 a.m. on a report of a man on the ground bleeding. 

Upon arrival to the west side of the building, patrol officers found Devers lying on the ground and unconscious. 

He was suffering from injuries consistent with a severe fall. Devers was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Port Chester Emergency Medical Services.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Port Chester Police Detective Bureau and the Westchester County Medical Examiner's office.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A 26-year-old man was being treated Tuesday morning for injuries "consistent with a possible fall" from an apartment building, police said.

Police Chief Richard Conway said the man was conscious and being treated by emergency medical services personnel on a sidewalk west of the building at 360 Westchester Ave.

The suspected fall occurred shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Conway said a Port Chester detective was investigating how the man fell. 

At 10:30 a.m., Conway said the man was about to be taken to a local hospital.
