Man Accused Of Firing Gun In Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester Police arrested a local man and charged him with reckless endangerment after he was accused of firing a shot from his roommate's gun, according to Patch.com.

Robert Monteiro, 32, allegedly fired the legally registered semi-automatic pistol at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Police believe he may have been attempting suicide following the death of a family member, Patch.com reported.
