- Hundreds of Westchester County parents and educators expressed concern and outrage to New York Education Commissioner John King over the implementation of the Common Core at a public forum held before a packed house at Port Chester Middle School on Monday night.
- Anthony Pellegrini, a senior at Port Chester High School , has been chosen to play baritone saxophone as a member of the New York All-State Symphonic Band.
- Port Chester residents will soon be able to feed parking meters using a credit card as the village is in the process of replacing the coin-operated meters with digital parking meters.
