WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The summer isn't quite over yet, but the 2015 Farmers' Almanac is saying that residents in Westchester County and most of the Northeast should start preparing for another winter filled with bitter cold and heavy snowfall.

The Farmers' Almanac is forecasting below average temperatures for the entire country and expects an active storm track for the eastern seaboard that could deliver heavy rains and snow.

The Almanac also "red flagged" early January and early February as times when the East Coast could see strong winds and heavy precipitation.

Rachel, it's climate change, not weather change genius. And in case you didn't know it, the earth is not flat.

I find this to be shocking. Al Gore told me we are on a pattern of unstoppable warming from now until he stops making money off of junk science.

Rumor has it the Farmers' Almanac is picking the Cubs to win the world series.

I am just glad this summer was great and what will be will be!

They are seldom right on par. The 2014 forecast for Summer states hotter than normal conditions. That was NOT the case.

They also said this summer would be hotter than last but it did not happen!

Scattered cold toward winter....

Really???
