Construction Continues on Rye Brook's Ridge Street

RYE BROOK, N.Y. - Workers from both Con Edison and Perisco have continued construction on power lines on North Ridge Street in Rye Brook this week after setting up shop on the morning of Jan. 3.

Traffic, which has been congested to one lane, could return to normal as early as Friday morning according to site officials. That is, of course, weather permitting. The National Weather Service is currently predicting a 100 percent chance of rain for Wednesday night and Thursday morning and a 30 percent chance of snow on Friday.

Con Edison workers said they were working on replacing underground power lines.
