  • It’s not how many Christmas lights you have, but what you do with them, says White Plains resident Chuck Barringer, whose car-stopping display is set to music and synchronized with three houses on his block.
  • State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding three missing residents of the Berkshire Farm Center for Youth in Canaan who may be heading to the Westchester/Putnam area.
  • A New York State Amber Alert has been issued for a 5-year-old boy who officials believe was abducted from his home near Albany by two men Thursday afternoon. 
  • Frank "Doc" Sniadack, of Port Chester, died Thursday, Dec. 11. He was 91. Sniadack was born and raised in New Britain, Conn. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and received his bachelor's degree from Columbia University, where he was an All American Football Player.
