- Frank "Doc" Sniadack, of Port Chester, died Thursday, Dec. 11. He was 91. Sniadack was born and raised in New Britain, Conn. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and received his bachelor's degree from Columbia University, where he was an All American Football Player.
