Capitol Theatre Postpones Shows After Hurricane Sandy

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester has postponed all events through Wednesday due to the continued effects of Hurricane Sandy, the venue announced Thursday. 

Comedian George Lopez was set to headline The Capitol Theatre on Friday before Hurricane Sandy hit Port Chester. The venue has rescheduled five events through Nov. 7.

Here’s a list of shows that will be rescheduled:

• Trey Anastasio Band, Sunday Oct. 28: The sold-out show was canceled earlier Sunday before Sandy rolled through the area. A postponement date will soon be announced. • George Lopez, Friday Nov. 2: The show is postponed until Feb. 22, 2013. • Red Ribbon Foundation Gala, Saturday Nov. 3: The event will be rescheduled at a later date. • Little Feat & Leon Russell, Sunday, Nov. 4: The concert will be rescheduled at a later date. • Meat Loaf, Wednesday Nov. 7: The concert will be rescheduled at a later date. 

The Capitol Theatre will post new dates on its website and Facebook page when shows are confirmed. All existing tickets for the shows will be honored for the new date, or refunds will be available at place of purchase.
