Adele's "21" in High Demand At Port Chester FYE

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Adele's "21" is flying off the shelves of the FYE located on the Boston Post Road in Port Chester, thanks in part to the artist’s performance at Sunday evening's Grammy Awards.

"It's always the top seller of our "Top 20" section," FYE Employee Lee Gonzalez said. "We sell out of both her new album and her old album at least once a week."

According to Gonzalez, FYE has already sold 14, and counting, of the 50 copies in stock as of 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Gonzalez estimates that FYE, which closes at 9:00 p.m., will sell all 50 in stock before sunset.

"People come in and ask for Adele multiple times each day," Gonzalez added. "Today just about everybody that comes in is asking about it."

Adele dominated the 54th Grammy Awards by taking home the Grammy in all six of her nominated categories. Her album "21," which has topped the charts at No. 1 for almost five months, took home Album of the Year. Its massive hit "Rolling in the Deep"' won victories in Song and Record of the Year as well. Adele’s performance of the award winning single punctuated her dominance and earned her a standing ovation from the crowd.
