Accident On I-95 South Ties Up Traffic Near Port Chester-Greenwich Line

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – A vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on southbound I-95 near the Port Chester, N.Y.-Greenwich, Conn. border has been blocking the left lane and backing up traffic for several miles.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Exit 22 in Port Chester and was affecting traffic in Connecticut.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. between Exit 22, Port Chester-Medland Avenue, and the Connecticut border, the New York State Thruway Authority website said.

Delays have been reported through Exit 4 on I-95 in Greenwich and further into Stamford.
