William Carlucci Jr., 81, Port Chester Veteran

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – William Carlucci Jr., a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died April 14. He was 81.

He was born March 12, 1931 to the late William and Genevieve McLaughlin Carlucci. Raised and educated in Port Chester, Carlucci served in the New York National Guard, the US Navy and the US Marine Corps.  

Carlucci was a retired truck driver for the Exxon Corporation and was a union delegate at the company. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church and was an altar server as a child. He was a member of the Port Chester American Legion.  

He is survived by his wife Carmen Carlucci; three sons William, John and Edward Carlucci, all of Port Chester; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Carlucci. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
