Things to Do in Port Chester This Weekend

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. — Check out what's happening in Port Chester and Rye Brook this weekend.

- Friday night is high school teen night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Rye YMCA. The event is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

- Children ages 3 and up are invited to drop in for story time arts and crafts at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rye Free Reading Room.

- Meet author Luis Quiros at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rye Free Reading Room, where  he will discuss his book An Other's Mind, which advocates for the equality of handicapped individuals. 

- The Village of Rye Brook will hold only its second installment of the Rye Brook Indoor Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday inside the AJP Senior Center.

The Don Bosco Center in Port Chester is holding voter registration from noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Rye Playland is holding a job fair from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

- The Rye YMCA is open to middle-school students from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday for Y 2Night!. The event is free for members and $5 for nonmembers. 

The Knights of Columbus will honor the village's Boy Scouts on Sunday with a 9 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Breakfast will follow at 10 a.m. at the Knights Hall. Board of Education preseident Blanca Lopez is slated to be the guest speaker.
