PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Paul Olsiewicz, of Port Chester, died Oct. 17 at the age of 89.
A retired machinist for the Electrolux Company in Old Greenwich, Conn., he was born on Mar. 22, 1922 in Poland to the late Sergeiusz and Dorota Olsiewicz. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester.
He is survived by his wife Stella Olsiewicz, his son Edward Olciewicz with wife Patti of Port Chester, his daughters Helen Hanratty of Norwalk, Conn, Judy Thomas with husband Milton of Stamford, Conn., Jean Boyd of Provo, Utah and Krystyna Olsiewicz of Bloomfield, N.J. and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. The funeral mass will be 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Interment following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich, Conn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic charities.
