PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Susie Poletsky, a retired bookkeeper of Port Chester, died suddenly on Nov. 14 at the age of 94.
She was born Jun. 17, 1917 in New York City to the late Gregorio and Concetta Salimbene Fusco. She was raised and educated in Port Chester.
On Oct. 7, 1950, she married retired Police Captain Joseph Poletsky in Yonkers. She retired as a bookkeeper for the EJ Korvettes Department Store in Port Chester.
Mrs. Poletsky is survived by her husband Joseph, her son Joseph W. Poletsky and his wife Cindy of Riverside, Conn., her daughter Barbara Bellantoni and her husband Joe of Hanover, Mass., her brother Louis Fusco of White Plains, her sister Palma Fasolino, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her brother Nicholas Fusco and her sisters Bea Hamilton, Josephine Rock, Virginia Vasillo and Teresa Martin.
Friends may visit family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A funeral mass will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Rye.
