PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Wendy “The Sweetest Sin” Sincuir, a resident of Port Chester, has been selected to be one of the boxers for the 11th Long Island Fight for Charity, on Monday, Nov. 24, at the Long Island Hilton in Melville.
This event is one of Long Island’s leading charity fundraising and networking events. More than 1,200 people are expected to attend, and more than $200,000 is projected to be raised to support members of the community through The Long Island Community Chest.
Sincuir works for American Business and is one of 20 of Long Island’s brightest and toughest business professionals who will go head to head in the ring in November. The card for the evening will include up to 10 bouts, pitting local business professionals against each other for charity.
“Returning as a boxer is an honor,” said Sincuir. “The Fight for Charity sends such a powerful message and helps people in need, which is important. Training for November will be difficult, but the charitable giving makes it worth the effort,”
Tickets for the event are available online. VIP tickets (reserved seating) are $225, general seats are $150, and both include admission to a pre-event special networking and cocktail reception. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP reception. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the boxing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Local restaurants will provide food and beverages for the event.
