PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Helen Frances Pugliese, a resident Port Chester, died Feb. 3 surrounded by family. She was 91.
Pugliese was retired from working in food services for the Port Chester Public Schools.
She was born June 10, 1920 in Greenwich, Conn. to the late Frank and Maria Antonia Fortugno Russo. Raised and educated in Greenwich, Pugliese graduated from Greenwich High School. On Nov. 23, 1944, she married Sam Pugliese in Greenwich. She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.
Surviving are her son Bob Pugliese of Port Chester, her daughter Carol (Alfred) Lalli of White Plains, her brother Frank (Joan) Russo, Jr. of Bluffton, S.C., a grandson and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Sam on Sept. 5, 2000 and her brothers Joseph and Louis Russo.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. The funeral mass will be on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
