Port Chester's Mary Kilpatrick Remembered Thursday

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Mary Pearl Kilpatrick, a former lab technician of Port Chester, died on Oct. 14. She was 101.

Born on Jul. 24, 1910 to Juble and Eva Miller in Buckingham County, Va., she attended public schools in Virginia. Kilpatrick then married her husband James, who predeceased her. 

She worked as a lab technician at United Hospital Medical Center and was a member of St. Frances AME Zion Church in Port Chester. Kilpatrick was also a charter member of the Mary Mark Chapter 63 at Order Eastern Star A.F. & A.M. fraternal organization.

Surviving are her son Robert A. Kilpatrick, I with wife Ida, her grandchildren Augusta R. Fulcher and Reverend Robert Kilpatrick, II and three great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Frances AME Zion Church. The funeral will follow at the church at 11 a.m. with interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. Arrangements by Barney T. McClanahan Funeral Home.
