“The KMA is an essential resource for this community,” says Mullin, “I am enormously proud to begin my tenure as president, and to advance the KMA’s special role in engaging visitors in thought-provoking concepts and artwork.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Deborah’s appointment at this auspicious moment in the Museum’s history, especially with a new strategic plan and dynamic new additions to our staff,” says Darsie Alexander, executive director of the Katonah Museum of Art.

Mullin’s slate of officers was also recently announced. Ellen Grimes, who has served as treasurer since 2010, has been elected vice president; current president Tara Coniaris will serve as secretary; and Mike Davies, a recent addition, will assume the role of Treasurer.

Concurrently, the KMA announces the appointment of Jennifer Berry as deputy director of Institutional Advancement and Administration, and Gary Ryan as the associate director of development.

Mullin is an adjunct professor at Hunter College and Fordham University having earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College, and a master's from Columbia University. In addition to her advocacy for the Katonah Museum of Art, she and her husband, John Chatzky, are also involved with Let’s Get Ready. A native of Chicago, she is a resident of Pound Ridge.
