Yonkers resident William Mooney III, director of economic development for Westchester County, said business leaders cite three top reasons for relocating or staying here:

  • Westchester's highly talented and skilled workforce.
  •  Accessibility to train lines, highways and airports.
  • Quality of life including the arts, parks and proximity to the Hudson River and Long Island Sound.

"Come to Westchester," Mooney says.

In addition to Mooney, more than 125 elected officials, hospital executives and other business leaders attended the March reception by Daily Voice at The Briarcliff Manor.

The reception marked the digital media company's sixth year in operation in Westchester County. It has since expanded to seven counties in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
