Cascio, Lifelong Port Chester Resident, Dies at 89

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Mildred Cascio of Port Chester died Feb. 13. She was 89.

The daughter of Angelo and Vincetta Monti Esposito, she was born April 5, 1922 in Port Chester. She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1939. On Jan. 20, 1946, she married Carmelo Cascio at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.

Cascio is remembered for her devotion and support of her family and friends.

Surviving are her daughters Susan (John) Menick and Judith Cascio, her son Vincent (Diane Ritch) Cascio and four grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband Carmelo in 2010.

Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home in Port Chester. The funeral starts at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at Corpus Christi Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield, Mass.
