To celebrate the opening of the Capitol Theatre on Aug. 18, 1926, owner Peter Shapiro created a playlist that includes Joplin's a cappella recording, said the report.

Jerry Garcia reportedly said, "See, there's only two theaters, man, that are set up pretty groovy all around for music and for smooth stage changes, good lighting, and all that -- the Fillmore and the Capitol Theatre. And those are the only two in the whole country," according to TheBluegrassSituation.com.

The Grateful Dead performed 18 times at the Capitol Theatre, said the report.

The new playlist has recordings of The Grateful Dead, Ryan Adams, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan.
