The six-week course called Home Grown will meet Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Jan. 23 through Feb. 27.
Participants will create new homes for plants and garden creations while discovering hand-building techniques best suited for specific plants. The class also will explore the various forms and functions of terracotta garden pots.

Opened more than 50 years ago, the Clay Art Center is a non-profit organization built to kindle passion for the ceramic arts. It provides space for studio practice, residencies, art exhibitions and workshops. It is located at 40 Beech Street.
The Gallery and shop are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
