Woodstock Tribute Band Plays Port Chester On Wednesday

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester will close out its summer concert series Wednesday with a Woodstock revival by Back to the Garden 1969 in downtown Port Chester.

The Rye-based band covers music performed at the legendary Woodstock Festival in 1969. Members are  Gary Adamson, Mike Garner, Annie Masciandaro, Bob Fonseca, Larry Kelly and Fred Walcott. Decked out in tie-dye and peace signs, they seek to recreate the spirit of the era by performing hits from acts such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Janis Joplin.

The free concert is hosted by the Port Chester Recreation Department and will be held on Adee Street between North Main Street and Abendroth Avenue. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m.
