The event will be held from 8-11 a.m. on the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center plaza.  The Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center is at 2-4 Longview Ave., between Maple Avenue and East Post Road.

More than 200 cancer survivors, nurses, doctors, administrators and community members are expected to dance the morning away while filming a music video for the hospital’s video entry in the nationwide Pink Glove Dance Competition for breast cancer.

In 2013, WPH was a runner-up, taking the prize for Best Overall Story, and this year participants hope to win the $25,000 grand prize for the cancer charity of choice, Gilda’s Club of Westchester. The winner will be selected after a public voting period at pinkglovedance.com from Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The event is free and open to the public. Jon Schandler, WPH’s CEO, and Susan Fox, president, are expected to attend.
