PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Family movie night and the Rye Brook Farmers Market are some of the events on tap this weekend in Rye.

Friday, Aug. 10

Movie Night In the Park “Dolphin Tale”: 8 p.m. Presented by Rye Brook Recreation at Village Hall, 938 King St. in Rye Brook. Admission is free. Refreshments will be sold.

Shakespeare at Rye Town Park: 5:45 p.m. Premiere of William Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” on the lawn by the lifeguard station at Rye Town Park at the east end of Dearborn Avenue. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Admission is free. Parking after 5 p.m. is $5, free for park season permit holders. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Saturday, Aug. 11

Rye Brook Farmers Market: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Support local vendors at the outdoor market at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at the corner of King Street and Comly Avenue in Rye Brook.
