Saturday, Dec. 1 Fashion Illustration Level II: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Part II of the Fashion Illustration workshop entitled, “Anatomy of Fashion: Research historic and contemporary designers from A-Z – Adrian, Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior, Erte, Fendi, Givency and others,” presented by Maureen Amaturo in conjunction with the Rye Arts Center. Abstract Writing Workshop with Maureen Amaturo: 1 to 2 p.m. for ages 8-12 and 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. for ages 12 and up. Ekphrasis is an artistic style in which one art form is used to describe another art form. Take Great Holiday Photos Workshop: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m . This program will cover basic digital terminology that pertains to the settings of the digital camera to ensure the best quality file is captured. The menus of the camera, as well as the programs will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras with a charged battery.
