Recruit Westchester is an employment fair at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook at 699 Westchester Avenue.
Recruit Westchester is organized through the Westchester County Association and the BLUEPRINT for Westchester, according to the release. Officials said the fair is not open to all job seekers but is being held for the students and alumni of the 15 participating colleges and universities.
"Companies across the county are lining up to tap into the local talent pool who will be attending Recruit Westchester 2013, where large and small businesses will connect with potential employees to fill staff and internship positions," representatives said in the release. "Recruit Westchester was an outgrowth of a collaborative agreement among the region’s colleges and universities to participate in the BLUEPRINT for Westchester’s efforts to ramp up the county’s efforts to compete globally."
