Residents are invited to join the group "for a great day of good exercise and goodwill" with yoga and cycling, according to a press release. The fundraiser is set to run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at 14 Waterfront Place in Port Chester, according to the release.

"Food to Grow On was founded in December 2011 by Nancy Hoffman after she became aware of the reality of child hunger in her community," representatives said in the press release. "After hearing stories about children who would not eat over the weekends and holidays and some children whose only meals were those served at the school cafeteria. She began bringing bags filled with nutritious, child-friendly food items to the school. It was then that she enlisted friends to help with her cause and soon gained the support of local organizations, community leaders, and volunteers."

Attendees are invited to choose from yoga, cycling or a combination class at Studio 14. Classes are $25 and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to F2GO, according to the release. Attendees are asked to bring peanut butter or a boxed cereal to donate.
