The String Cheese Incident formed in Boulder, Colorado more than 20 years ago, and their self-described "sacreligious mix of bluegrass, calypso, salsa, Afro-pop, funk, rock, and jazz” has built them an enormous and dedicated fan base.  The band started playing at local ski resorts, where they would be compensated with free lift tickets. After several years as their popularity grew, they formed SCI Fidelity Records, an independent record label under which they released their debut album, "Born on the Wrong Planet."

Their new album "Song In My Head," is their first studio album in nine years and is a frolicking strain of countrified tunes composed with complex musicianship.

Tickets are on sale now for $49.50 and $75.00. To purchase, visit www.thecapitoltheatre.com.
