"American Idol" star Jax and celebrated comedian Joe Piscopo are joining The New York Tenors and Clyde McPhatter's Drifters to create an evening full of great music and laughter at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.

"American Idol" fans will remember Jax, the 19-year-old platinum blonde whose performances bewitched rock icon and judge Steven Tyler. A passionate supporter of first responders, her dad was a longtime member of the Fire Department of New York. Jax recently lent her stardom to a national tour with "American Idol" standouts and her song "La La Land," released last month, is climbing the charts. She will also perform a duet at the concert with Lemm's step-daughter Brooke Chaco.

Piscopo's impersonations have been considered the gold standard. The "Saturday Night Live" alum had his star quality recognized early on with an Emmy nomination. But he says his true love is performing on stage and keeping audiences roaring with laughter.

Piscopo recently celebrated the second anniversary of his popular New York City radio show, "Piscopo in the Morning."

WCBS-FM's Scott Shannon will host the event.

The benefit concert will be held at The Capitol Theatre, 149 Westchester Ave. on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $50 and may be purchased at the website. Donations can also be made on that website.
