The conference is at capacity with 500 participants expected, mostly from area high schools and colleges.

The conference will begin in Willcox Hall with workshop sessions taking place in Miller Hall. For entrance to this event, use Entrance 3 located at 861 Bedford Road, Pleasantville.

The conference will be filled with workshops throughout the day on topics ranging from choosing a college, combating bullying, coming out and bisexuality.

The keynote speaker will be Dale Guy Madison, an educator, writer, performance artist, filmmaker and former host for the QVC network.

His one-man show, "FREEda Slave: Mask of a Diva," addressed issues of discrimination in the gay community. Madison's autobiography, "Dreamboy: My Life as a QVC Host & Other Greatest Hits" was recently filmed.  His latest book, "Sissy Sammy in the Land of WEHO 90069," is a fairy tale. It is the story of a feminine boy, who after a bullying incident, wakes up in an all-gay town.

Other presenters for the event include Laura A. Jacobs, LCSW, a psychotherapist, author, presenter and activist on gender and sexuality; Edgemont high school student Tiffany Jiang; and Devon Spencer, an undergraduate at SUNY Purchase College, who is majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Gender Studies.
