Ridgewood Voters Overwhelmingly Approve Parking Garage Measure

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Ridgewood voters overwhelmingly approved a proposal for a multi-level parking garage Tuesday.

Of the more than 4,800 people who cast votes Tuesday, 65 percent – 3,236 – voted "yes" on the parking garage ballot question, according to unofficial Board of Election results.

Thirty-five percent of residents voted against the measure. The Village Council will have one month to decide on final plans.

B. Vincent Loncto was also re-elected to the Ridgewood Board of Education in an uncontested race. Longo received 1,978 votes, or 98 percent, according to unofficial results.
