Twist of Fate, a locally-based, five-member band led by Adam and Dayna Reist and featuring the steel drum, is to perform a set list of the best pop songs from the Reggae, Ska, Jamaican and American music scenes, according to a statement from the town.

The show is the first in the town’s summer series, which is to offer live music to people of all ages at no cost during seven Tuesday evenings in July and August.

The shows are to take place at the Rye Town Park South Pavilion, 95 Dearborn Ave. Some seating is available, but those who attend are urged to bring blankets or beach chairs. While entrance to the park is free, there is a parking fee of $5 or $4 for those with a town permit. Senior permit holders will not be charged, according to the town.

The June 21 event is scheduled for 7:30 – 9 p.m. Those planning to make a picnic of the evening are welcomed to do so. Though the concerts will be held in rain or shine, severe thunderstorms will force their cancellation, according to the town.

The concert series is sponsored in part by G. Griffin Wine and Spirits at 498 Forest Ave. For more information, visit the town of Rye online or call 914-967-0965.
