PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Clay Arts Center in Port Chester if offering a digital fabrication class.
The class will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and program manager Adam Chau will be sharing his approach to digital fabrication.
He will discuss how cutting-edge technology is changing the ceramics field one plate at a time, and demonstrate how he uses a CNC machine to digitally decorate ceramic plates.
He will show his process from start to finish, from plate creation, handmade brushes and programming a robot.
At the end of the workshop, participants will also have a chance to make their own brushes and learn how to apply some of his techniques to their own work.
This event is for members only. There is a materials fee of $3 per brush.
