Wanaque Welcoming New Board Of Education Member

WANAQUE, N.J. -- Wanaque will add a new Board of Education member at its reorganization ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. at Wanaque Elementary School.

Jason Velante was elected to fill an unexpired term during the November election.

"My wife and I would never have guessed our kids would be watching their father get sworn in as as a Board of Education member in Wanaque," Velante wrote on Facebook.

Incumbents Robert Barnhardt, Dana Imbasciani and Angela Demetriou will also be sworn in at the ceremony.

The school is located at 1 First Street.
