Friday, May 2 :
The Nurse Is In: A nurse is on site to take blood pressure readings and answer your health questions from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the YMCA in Greenwich. For information, call 203-863-4444.
Understanding Spine Disorders: New technologies and treatments are helping patients recover from painful conditions of the spine. Join orthopedic surgeon Paul Apostolides, MD, from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at the YMCA of Greenwich, 50 E. Prostate Cancer Education Forum: Treatment Approaches for Advanced Prostate Cancer. Join medical oncologist Daniel Petrylak, MD, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Greenwich Hospital’s Noble Conference Center to learn more about some of the new protocols that have received FDA approval. The Nurse Is In: 9 to 11 a.m. at the Rye YMCA and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Greenwich Library Health Information Center.
Encore at the YWCA: This YWCA program for women who have had breast cancer surgery includes group discussions to identify and share common concerns, as well as floor and swimming exercises.
