Furuya Sisters Will Perform at Crawford Park

This event is a departure from the usual Friends of Crawford Park series, which has previously featured Saturday night rock or folk concerts.

The Furuya Sisters are Mimi Furuya on cello, Sakiko Furuya on piano and Harumi Furuya on violin. Individually, and as a trio, they have toured extensively throughout Europe and the United States, and have won numerous awards for both performance and composition.

The program includes Tchaikovsky Piano Trio in A Minor, Op. 50 I. Pezzo elegiaco II. A. Tema con Variazioni: Tema & Variazioni I – XI and Mozart Trio in E Major KV 542 I. Allegro.

Tickets, if bought in advance, are $15 for adults and $9 for children 16 and under. At the door, tickets are $20 for adults and $14 for children. Parking is free. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
