Crawford Mansion Hosts Concert Of American Classics

RYE, N.Y. -- Robin Clifford, soprano; Rachel Weishoff, mezzo soprano; Matthew Cossack, baritone; and Christopher Cooley, pianist, are presenting an afternoon of Opera and American classics, on Sunday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at Crawford Mansion, located at 122 North Ridge Street, in Rye Brook.

Advanced tickets are $15 for adults and $9 for students and seniors. At the door, tickets are $20 for adults and $14 for students and seniors. Doors open at 2 p.m. Program highlights include Verdi, Massanet, Mozart, Gershwin and Rodgers and Hammerstein. 

“Music at the Mansion” has a mission to help raise money for Crawford Park by hosting numerous events, showcasing phenomenal artists from the area. Shows are held every two months. The venue’s intimate atmosphere and acoustics provides a great viewing and listening experience for audience members. 

Robin Clifford and Rachel Weishoff are both graduate students at SUNY Purchase. Clifford has performed in numerous Purchase Opera productions from 2012 through 2015. Weishoff represented the school and won the National Opera Association’s 2014 Opera Scenes competition. 

Matthew Cossack is currently in his first year as a graduate student at Mannes College He has performed in shows produced by Mannes Opera, New York Lyric Opera Theater, Purchase Opera and Princeton Summer Festival. Christopher Cooley has traveled the world sharing his talents as an accomplished composer, arranger, and orchestrator.
