On I-78 near mile marker 61.2, the unidentified driver of a Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound in the right lane of the highway behind the 75-year-old victim's Chevrolet Tahoe, PSP said.

The "aggressive" driver then moved into the center lane to pass the Bethlehem man sometime around 11:30 a.m., police said. The motorist then pointed a handgun out the window, prompting the victim to drive to safety, according to police.

The victim left the highway at the Hellertown exit, where he noticed a bullet hole in the rear bumper, PSP said. He drove to PSP Bethlehem to report the incident.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Belfast Station at (610) - 759 - 6106.
