Port Chester Middle School Students Relocated After Water Main Freezes

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester Middle School was evacuated shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday after a water main froze, a school district spokeswoman said.

The students were relocated to the auditorium and balcony of Port Chester High School and remained there about noon Tuesday as repairs were being made to the main pipe. 

Parents were notified via email alerts and told no was endangered by the water issue.
