Her new bakery, Sugar Hi, which she runs with her twin sister Elissa Weinhoff, an EMT with the Armonk Fire Department, opened Sunday, Oct. 22 and promises lots of cronuts, cakes, candy (including high-end chocolate), freak shakes, homemade pop tarts, oversized rice crispy treats, and banana pudding, among other treats.

The Armonk shop, at 380 Main St in Armonk, is a long-held dream for the self-taught baker who started making birthday cakes when she realized she could do better than the expensive ones she was buying for her kids.

After years of selling to friends and family, folks throughout Westchester will be treated to her "Sugar Hi" concoctions -- just in time for the ultimate "sweet" event: Halloween. See previous Daily Voice story HERE.

Go to www.sugar-hi.com/ (still under construction) for more information or simply visit the store. Phone is 914-273-4777; Facebook page HERE.
