PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A Port Chester business was not able to make "the profit", even with the help of Marcus Lemonsis.
Los Gemelos, a since-closed Port Chester restaurant, and tortilleria, was featured on the CNBC reality show last November. It was owned by Adelo Ramirez.
Lemonsis first heard about Los Gemelos from comedian George Lopez. Lemonsis was not impressed, finding out the tortilla machine from Mexico had safety issues and there were issues with the current landlord.
Instead of continuing with Los Gemelos, Lopez, Lemonsis and Ramirez formed their own Hispanic business with each putting in $150,000. Ramirez closed the company and sold his assets.
