Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of premium pet food and supplies, recently signed a long-term lease for the 2,800-square-foot space, formerly occupied by Finch’s Drugs, which is closing at the end of the month after 65 years, the website reported.
“When the owners of Finch’s Drugs approached us with their desire to retire it provided a rare opportunity for a specialty retailer on the main level of the shopping center,” said Erin Hinchey, leasing agent for the Rye Ridge Shopping Center, in a press release. “Pet Valu is a great complement to our shopping experience, they have a beautiful store and provide something that we did not previously offer.”
Pet Valu has more than 400 locations in the United States and Canada and offers more than 7,000 products, including national and nutritious brands of pet foods and treats.
