The Rye native grew up as a successful competitive equestrian and long worked with highly credentialed trainers. At one point she decided to pursue her own credentials at Focus Personal Training Institute in Manhattan.

From there, she interned at notable fitness facilities in NYC and developed clientele in Connecticut and Westchester. That loyal following convinced her to open her own dedicated studio.

Fitness Boutique opened in Rye on Sept. 1 and prides itself on its "boutique" dedicated space where there is no competition or distractions.

"We aim to be as stress-free as possible," said Kreitman.

With the new year upon us, she said she expects an uptick in business as typical resolutions are to lose weight, tone up, get stronger and feel better not only physically, but mentally.

Her goal? To impress bigger picture thinking such as ongoing lifestyle changes.

As for tips for getting through the holidays, she recommends the following:

  • Don't beat yourself up.
  • Enjoy your time spent with family and friends.
  • Don’t overthink overindulging, but always stay mindful and have an exercise resolution close in site.

As for Fitness Boutique, there are now complimentary assessments in place as well as an introductory rate at $65 per session.

Said Kreitman:"Fitness training should not be an elite endeavor. It should be affordable and rewarding."

Fitness Boutique is at 15 Purchase St., Ste 7, 914-268-1423, www.fitnessboutiquerye.com.
