Mamaroneck's Frankie & Fanucci's Brunch Lets You Be Your Own Bartender

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The DIY (Do It Yourself) craze now extends to brunch where, at Frankie & Fanucci's Wood Oven Pizzeria in Mamaroneck, you can act as your own bartender, mixing and matching a variety of Prosecco cocktails.

The restaurant's new Social Brunch features "Pour Your Own' Cocktails" in its Self-Pour Taproom. And that includes the new Prosecco Bar where diners are presented with a tray of three fruit purees and juices, two liqueurs and two garnishes. 

Suggested pairings are offered with the menu or you can summon your inner mixologist and have fun playing with various combinations. Each tray serves three to four people.

Not into Prosecco? No worries. The Taproom features 30-plus craft beers and wine, all on tap.

Each guest is given a chip-enabled card allowing them to pour any -- or all -- of the constantly rotating selections. The $25 per person brunch includes up to $15 in alcohol. Want more than that? Pour what you want and pay by the ounce for whatever you drink.

The new brunch features wood-fired breakfast pizza, brunch plates and sides and is served family-style. It is available in Mamaroneck only (301 Mamaroneck Ave., 914-630-4360) every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

An a la carte menu is also available.

The Prosecco add-on is $10 more but from now through Sunday, April 30, it is being offered to each table for free.
