Key Food Opens Its First Market In Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Key Food Stores Co-operative Inc. has opened its first Key Food in Port Chester at 130 Midland Ave.

The store's grand opening with Port Chester Mayor Dennis G. Pilla, Westchester County Chief of Staff George Oros, and Key Food executives in attendance was Friday, April 8.

The store has a line of international items, a full-service bakery, meat and deli departments.

The produce department offers a variety of organic options.

Customers can also enjoy a free shuttle service that will pick them up from their homes and drive them to the store, as well as free parking in a large parking lot.

“I’m happy to be serving the local area and strive to make it clear that we’re always here for them. I look forward to building a fruitful relationship with the Port Chester community by getting involved and creating a grocery store that can become a gathering place for everyone," said store owner Anthony Pena.
