DeSilva Named Daily Voice Publisher

ARMONK, N.Y. – Kathryn DeSilva, Daily Voice's Director of Sales, has been promoted to Publisher.

DeSilva joined Daily Voice in April of 2011 and was named Director of Sales last year.

DeSilva has an extensive history as a sales leader. She joined Mary Kay cosmetics in 1993 and was a 10 time national court of sales Winner and senior sales director recruiting and building an award winning sales team across the US. DeSilva earned 6 Mary Kay cars, including the famous pink Cadillac.

In 2003,  she was recruited to work at Chase Media group leading its inside sales team. She was promoted to sales manager within a year, leading the entire inside and outside sales division as well as direct mail and inserts responsible for revenues of more than $12 million. DeSilva began working at Tri State Media Group in 2008 as Director of Marketing and Special Projects. In that role she developed two websites and helped launch a new publication – Essentials Magazine.
